You don’t need wings to be an Art Angel with us
An Art Angel is a medium to large organisation that subscribes to hosting regular art exhibitions and/or creative events with Katia Art of Living for the benefit of their staff with positive outcomes for the organisation, and the artists and charities involved.
Leaders send a message through their actions, which affect what staff experience, which in turn drive their fundamental beliefs about “how we do things around here”. These beliefs may or may align with official policy and management communications.
Here at Katia Art of Living we believe exposing and involving staff in our art exhibitions and creative events can sends a positive message about innovation, creativity, and the importance of giving through charities. This affects what staff experience, and thus influences beliefs, and the organisational culture.
Art exposure, especially when coupled with supportive management interventions, can help foster engaging conversations, and promote, not only innovation and creativity, but improved wellbeing, collaboration, productivity, and stress management. [See Research & Info page.]

How does it work?
You arrange an obligation-free confidential discussion with a consultant to determine your aims as a leader in the context of the organisational culture and challenges (if any), and whether our services can assist.
We collaborate with your organisation to:
- define art-related events that you could host to suit your organisation;
- select an appropriate space on your premises (or elsewhere);
- determine the approach for internal and external communications about the event and your organisation, the artist, and the charity;
- source and liaise with the artist/ art facilitator;
- refer you to our partner organisations for related services such as catering, live entertainment, furniture rentals if needed.
We provide artists and art facilitators for the types of events outlined below, but we are open to alternatives if they align with the Katia Art of Living mission of bringing art and creativity into the workplace for the benefit of your organisation, the artist, and a nominated charity.
An art exhibition displays and promotes the work of one artist and lasts for up to one month at an agreed location in your business premises or as arranged. The artworks are available for staff and/or public. The exhibition period is started with an opening event to which the featured artist and a Katia Art of Living representative are usually invited.
Select the exhibition location to become a focal point for staff gatherings and discussions.
The aim is for the exhibition to elicit staff interaction, promote the artist and sell their artworks, and benefit the charity with a percentage of sales.
Events may include talks on art-related topics, or art creation such as painting workshops, or art therapy sessions.
Creative events are delivered by an artist or facilitator for the benefit of staff and can be delivered to groups or individuals.
In the future we hope to expand the types of events we bring to you to include specialized cooking demonstrations, musical workshops, and more. Stay tuned!
Art and noble causes
A percentage of artwork sales and creative event bookings is donated to your nominated charity.
As an organisation you may also opt to host events especially tailored to raise additional funds, e.g. buy a painting to auction or raffle at a staff function.
Before the exhibition or creative event, the charity is notified that they have been nominated by you. Katia Art of Living manages and provides evidence of donations made after the exhibition or event.
